The Voice of Small Business in the Garden State
We’re a nonprofit organization advocating for Main Street, entrepreneurs and the communities they sustain—from Cape May to the Delaware Water Gap.

Small businesses are the backbone of our local communities
Rising costs, economic instability and a complex regulatory climate have made it harder than ever to start, manage, or grow a small business in New Jersey. Yet these businesses remain the lifeblood of our state’s economy, employing thousands, sustaining local tax bases and anchoring neighborhoods. The New Jersey Local Business Alliance provides a unified voice for Main Street and the entrepreneurs who power it. We work to ensure small businesses have a seat at the table in policy decisions, access to essential resources, and the support they need to thrive. When small businesses succeed, New Jersey’s communities don’t just survive, they flourish.
